Due to the thin layer of VG-10 steel in its centre it allows the blade to be extremely hard and sharp while retaining its flexibility and strength.
Over a thousand years ago Japanese sword smiths crafted swords for the Samurai which needed to be extremely strong, durable and sharp. These same traditional sword wielding techniques have been adopted in the Tojiro Professional Flash Series.
With a Rockwell rating of 61, these Damascus knives embody incredibly sharp edges which can only be found in the best of blades.
The beautifully crafted Micarta handles are embedded with stainless steel and are made from linen and synthetic resin compounded by extreme amounts of pressure and heat creating a wood-like grain and feel giving it the highest level of durability.

Very well made and the details are very nice. Very sharp out if the box. The fork is also very detailed and high quality. I thought the steel rod would be generic, but it has the same handle material as the knife and fork. I am pleased.
I bought this carving set as a gift for my family gathering, and my mother is the receiver, and she was very happy to receive this kind of gift. We used this carving set to share hams, roast, and steak during the gathering, and it works very well at that happy time. It really makes me very proud of my appreciation of beauty in front of my family.
